American Roots Night presents Ann Porcella & Bill Schmidt (with Gary Wright & Leah Weiss)

This month’s American Roots Night presents ANN PORCELLA & BILL SCHMIDT, with Gary Wright & Leah Weiss. Ann’s musical taste gravitates toward the gospel music she learned at home in Iowa, growing up in a large music family and being the daughter of a preacher. Her deep, powerhouse voice adapts well to many different traditional styles. Bill is a solid fiddle, banjo, and guitar player steeped in Appalachian old-time and blues traditions. Ann and Bill, who hail from Baltimore, have performed for the American Roots Night series in the past to great acclaim. Gary and Leah will join them on some songs as well as play a short set of their own. Reservations are recommended.
