American Roots Night presents Gary Wright & Leah Weiss with special guest Mark Schatz

For this month’s American Roots Night, Gary Wright & Leah Weiss will be welcoming special guest and musician extraordinaire Mark Schatz. Twice named International Bluegrass Music Association’s Bass Player of the Year, Mark has toured and recorded with a stellar array of artists, including Bela Fleck, Tony Rice, John Hartford, Tim and Mollie O’Brien, Nickel Creek, The Claire Lynch Band, and Sarah Jarosz. He is musical director for Annapolis’ own Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble, where he showcases his other talents, including clawhammer banjo and Southern Appalachian clog dancing. Get ready for a great evening of traditional, contemporary, and original roots music.
