Bilgewater Bluegrass

Bilgewater was formed in early 2018 by mandolin player Travis Guthrie and guitarist Russell Jacobsen.  Soon after Victoria Grier(fiddle) and Jimmy Mumper(upright bass) joined. After several jam sessions as a four piece, it was determined a banjo player was needed and along came Chuck Andreatta.  Bilgewater has been playing shows and the occasional festival set around Annapolis for just under a year.  Their blend of traditional bluegrass, old time covers and ambitious originals make them a unique act in Annapolis’ music scene.
