Karen Collins & the Backroads Band

Karen Collins & the Backroads Band is a four piece honky tonk country and rockabilly band led by Karen, a coal miner’s daughter from Southwest VA, The Backroads Band plays classic country (Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, rockabilly (Wanda Jackson, Chuck Barry) and originals written in a classic country style. The group has won multiple WAMMIEs (Washington Area Music Awards) for “Country Duo/Group,  “Country Instrumentalist” and “Country Vocalist”.     http://backroads.karencollins.net
