Last Sundays @49 West

Last Sundays@49 and pillowbook present Black Rhinoceros, a new duo featuring the amazing (and to us older musicians, annoyingly expert) Ahren Field (guitar/vox) and the wonderfully talented Erin Snedecor (cello/vox). Their smart arrangements turn complex melodies, chord progressions, and harmonies into beautiful and catchy pop tunes that ring in your head for hours. They’re mesmerizing! And the back room at 49 West is the perfect, intimate room in which to lean back, relax, have some delicious coffee, wine or spirit, maybe one of those delicious 49 West desserts or a meal.

Also performing is series host, pillowbook (guitarist/composer Adrian Bond and Telesma lead singer, Joanne Juskus). Come see and hear Adrian’s miracle ca. 1866 Martin parlor guitar played lovingly in the service of 200 year old English, Scottish and Irish folk music, Child ballads and the like.
