Starr’s Jazz Jam

Starr’s Jazz Jam has been in existence at 49 West for over 10 years now and was before that very popular at the King of France Tavern. The house band plays amazing jazz for the first set, led by John Starr on bass, flute and vocals too. He is joined by Tom Korth on piano, Bill McHenry on drums and Dick Glass on trumpet! The second and third sets include singers and players from the audience and we attract wonderful local singers and musicians. We have quite an array of instrumentalists who show up and call tunes. Our house band is seldom stumped! Come join the fun and bring a friend!
