Our feature this month is Adam Lauver, a writer, actor, and recovering PhD student. Born and raised in Lancaster, PA, Adam has since lived and studied in Boston and Colorado. His poetry has appeared in the George Street Carnival, and his first book — an experimental play titled “The Last Thing I’ll Ever Write (Part One)” — was published by Plays Inverse Press in January 2019. His work includes dialogic communication research and practice, social justice activism, and facilitating workshops in prisons and jails.

PARK FOR FREE in the Anne Arundel County employees’ garage at 19 St. John’s St. (GPS/Mapquest the address)
The garage is OPEN AND FREE on weekends. This garage is about a five-minute walk from the 49 West Coffehouse.
The garage is right across from the St. John’s College auditorium. Turn on to St. John’s St. off of College Ave., OR come straight down Rowe Blvd. from Rt. 50, then turn left at the light at Calvert St., and then left on St. John St. Here’s a link with the St. John’s St. garage’s location and the walking route to 49 West Cafe.
