DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, Feb 29\, 2024\, 6:00-7:15pm join us for \nAnnapolis Science Café at 49 West: “All About Annapolis City’s Drinking Water Treatment\, Process and Delivery” by Mr. James Bovis. Jim will discuss Annapolis City’s drinking water treatment process and delivery. Jim started working in the water treatment field as a water sampler in 1986. He then worked for Anne Arundel County as an Apprentice Plant Operator. He has been with the City of Annapolis since 1992\, starting as a Water Plant Operator and eventually became the Water Plant Superintendent in May\, 2019. He also owns the Annadele Water Treatment Operations LLC\, which provides contract water plant operations for privately owned public water systems. We hope you will come to the Annapolis Science Café at 49 West in person\, but zoom info is available too; if interested in zoom or other questions\, email annapoliscafesci@gmail.com . It is best to reserve seats for this event at 49 West by calling 410-626-9796. The event is free but you need to buy something from the restaurant.
