Listening to Alexander Peters is like curling up next to a fire with an Irish coffee and a good friend who tells great stories. L. Rodgers is a soulful powerhouse who will suddenly catch you off guard with the honestly and humanity of a lyric that will bring you to tears. (She is also currently a contestant on the NBC show “The Voice” and is killing it!) Michael K. writes songs that have a timeless quality — you kind of feel like you have always known them. And you will likely be humming them on the way home. 2nd Monday at 49 West is a monthly concert series featuring local and regional songwriters.
