It is the last surviving screwpile lighthouse in its original location still being used for navigational purposes. Preserving the lighthouse in a hostile\, challenging environment has required scientific solutions and perseverance. Find out how we have saved this lighthouse from extinction. \nWe hope you will join us in person at the Annapolis Science Café at 49 West\, but Zoom is available too. It is best to reserve seats for this event at 49 West by calling 410-626-9796. The event is free but you need to buy something from the restaurant.
