In an industry where artists are often working independently\, “The 9” brings performers together\, often whom have never met\, to combine their talents and perform to large crowds around the country. Each installment features an ensemble of nine acts performing in a unique and captivating format\, telling stories\, and sitting in on each other’s songs with little to no rehearsal for a community experience that can’t be duplicated or emulated. Call ahead and reserve a table and come early to get some food and drinks. Doors open at 7pm in the music room and show starts at 7:30pm with: \nJustin Trawick\nSarah Paige\nGage Rhodes\nDaniel Alvarez\nCrosby Cofod\nSam Pugh\nAlexander Peters\nJessie Hoffman\nThe Meantime \nTHE 9 SONGWRITER SERIES\nFounded in Washington DC in 2008 by singer/songwriter Justin Trawick\, “The 9 Songwriter Series” is a touring collective and live show featuring nine acts performing together for one evening of songs and collaboration. In an industry where artists are often working independently\, “The 9” brings performers together\, often whom have never met\, to combine their talents and perform to large crowds around the country. Each installment features an ensemble of nine acts performing in a unique and captivating format\, telling stories\, and sitting in on each other’s songs with little to no rehearsal for a community experience that can’t be duplicated or emulated. To date\, over 500 different artists have participated in “The 9” at shows in DC\, Baltimore\, Annapolis\, Philadelphia\, New York\, Fairfield\, Boston\, Richmond\, Charlottesville\, Charlotte\, New Orleans\, Atlanta\, Los Angeles and San Francisco. \n\n\n  \n

No cover\, just walk on in\, seat yourself. – we’re in the front room. \nJenn Byrne is the foundation of the group\, playing the upright bass\, and doing the Lion’s share of the singing. Jenn has an enigmatic and versitile voice\, which is capable of a wide variety of styles. In addition to The Befuddlers Jenn can be seen around town with her other group\, the Hypnotic Panties. She also has a band with her brother Jeremy\, and father Pete which is called Crosstown. \nLarry Byrne is a multi-instumentalist and singer\, and lays down the rhythm on acoustic guitar with The Befuddlers. Larry sits on the board of AMFM\, a charity organization for musicians based in Annapolis. He can be seen playing with many local groups at AMFM fundraisers. Larry also plays with the local funk group\, Higher Hands\, playing the keyboards and supplying left hand bass. He also loves to join the Hypnotic Panties whenever possible! \nPete Reichwein is the father of Jenn\, and the Dobro player in the group. Pete has been a fixture in the Bluegrass community for decades\, but is also an extremely diverse musician with a good knowledge of many different styles of music.\nNo Cover Charge

DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nCome on down to 49west – Larry and i’ll be singing & playing and hanging out in one of our favorite local places.. there is all kinds of good stuff going there besides this music we’re promoting. amazing artwork\, food and drinks\, people. No cover\, just walk on in\, seat yourself. – we’re in the front room. \nJenn Byrne is the foundation of the group\, playing the upright bass\, and doing the Lion’s share of the singing. Jenn has an enigmatic and versitile voice\, which is capable of a wide variety of styles. In addition to The Befuddlers Jenn can be seen around town with her other group\, the Hypnotic Panties. She also has a band with her brother Jeremy\, and father Pete which is called Crosstown. \nLarry Byrne is a multi-instumentalist and singer\, and lays down the rhythm on acoustic guitar with The Befuddlers. Larry sits on the board of AMFM\, a charity organization for musicians based in Annapolis. He can be seen playing with many local groups at AMFM fundraisers. Larry also plays with the local funk group\, Higher Hands\, playing the keyboards and supplying left hand bass. He also loves to join the Hypnotic Panties whenever possible! \nPete Reichwein is the father of Jenn\, and the Dobro player in the group. Pete has been a fixture in the Bluegrass community for decades\, but is also an extremely diverse musician with a good knowledge of many different styles of music.\nNo Cover Charge

Each installment features nine solo singer/songwriters performing in rotation and often sitting in with each other\, providing audiences with a rich\, intimate\, varied listening experience.
