Fidyk has earned national and international acclaim as a performer\, author\, and educator. He is a member of The Army Blues Big Band\, the Jazz Studies faculty at Temple University\, Philadelphia\, PA.\, and a contributing columnist for Modern Drummer Magazine. He has performed and recorded with Wayne Bergeron\, John Clayton\, Wycliffe Gordon\, Tim Hagans\, Slide Hampton\, Maureen McGovern\, James Moody\, New York Voices\, Dick Oates\, Arturo Sandoval\, Doc Severinsen\, Terell Stafford\, Tim Warfield\, and Bill Watrous. On tour with Maureen McGovern\, Fidyk has performed with orchestras throughout the country\, including The Cincinnati Pops\, Spokane Symphony\, Nashville Symphony\, Plano Symphony\, The Baltimore Symphony\, The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra\, and the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon. His discography as a leader/co-leader includes: Big Kids (U.S. Roots)\, A Perfect Match (Write Groove)\, and Live at Blues Alley (OA2). Fidyk can also be heard on over 100 recordings as a contributing artist.

If it’s for both show\, please specify that as well. \nMusic and spirituality have always been fully intertwined in the artistic vision of trumpeter\, \nbandleader\, composer\, educator and activist Sean Jones. Singing and performing as a child with \nthe church choir in his hometown of Warren\, Ohio\, Sean switched from the drums to the \ntrumpet at the age of 10. \nSean is a musical chameleon and is comfortable in any musical setting no matter what the role \nor the genre. He is equally adept in being a member of an ensemble as he is at being a \nbandleader. Sean turned a 6-month stint with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra into an offer \nfrom Wynton Marsalis for a permanent position as lead trumpeter\, a post he held from 2004 \nuntil 2010. In 2015 Jones was tapped to become a member of the SFJAZZ Collective. During this \ntime\, Sean has managed to keep a core group of talented musicians together under his \nleadership forming the foundation for his groups that have produced and released eight \nrecordings on the Mack Avenue Records\, the latest is his 2017 release Sean Jones: Live from the \nJazz Bistro. \nSean has been prominently featured with a number of artists\, recording and/or performing \nwith many major figures in jazz\, including Illinois Jacquet\, Jimmy Heath\, Frank Foster\, Nancy \nWilson\, Dianne Reeves\, Gerald Wilson and Marcus Miller. Sean was selected by Miller\, Herbie \nHancock and Wayne Shorter for their Tribute to Miles tour in 2011. \nHe has also performed with the Cleveland\, Pittsburgh and Youngstown Symphony Orchestras as \nwell as Soulful Symphony in Baltimore and in a chamber group at the Salt Bay Chamber Festival. \nSean is also an internationally recognized educator. He was recently named the Richard and \nElizabeth Case Chair of Jazz at John Hopkins University’s Peabody Institute in Baltimore. Before \ncoming to Peabody\, Sean served as the Chair of the Brass Department at the Berklee College of \nMusic in Boston.

His intricate solo guitar arrangements of centuries-old Irish harp and fiddle music\, familiar jazz\, blues\, and pop standards of the ‘30s and ’40s\, and original compositions appeal to audiences of all ages and tastes. Bob has arranged and recorded music for PBS\, National Geographic\, and several independent filmmakers. He typically gives more than 200 live performances a year. Bob and his wife\, Cate\, a teacher\, divide their time year-round between a home in New Brunswick\, Canada\, touring the country in the winter\, and nightly performances throughout the summer on Mount Desert Island\, Maine.\n\nAlong with being a life-long musician\, Bob has been a ferry captain\, boatbuilder\, marine biologist\, and the owner/operator of one of the first North Atlantic whale watching companies\, Maine Whalewatch. Discoveries in these areas will be aided by the convergence of several key technologies: seafloor mapping with multibeam sonar\, exploration with remotely operated and autonomous underwater vehicles\, and telepresence through fiber optic and satellite links between ship and shore. Examples of these technologies and their applications will be drawn from expeditions of the Exploration Vessel Nautilus\, which is operated by Dr. Robert Ballard and the Ocean Exploration Trust. DESCRIPTION:  \n \nCOME JOIN US FOR HAPPY HOUR 5-7PM!! \nBob Israel guitar\nEddie Czerwinski guitar\nColeman O’Donoghue percussion\nDave Marsh bass. \n  \nBob originally made his mark as the founder\, orchestra leader and principal trombonist of the Washington Jazz Battalion\, a 16-piece Big Band\, formed in 1976. The band enjoyed popularity and perform ed overseas\, in NYC\, and throughout most of the east coast. Bob’s Big Band enjoyed great popularity on the East Coast\, playing venues like: Top of the Town; Cellar Door; Blues Alley; Wax Museum; Bethesda Blues and Jazz; Bethesda Cinema Drafthouse; Arties after Dark\, among many corporate\, charity\, and association events. Bob’s skills and the unique sound his Big Band was noted by the Ronald Reagan\, George Bush\, and Bill ClintonAdministrations\, where he was formally invited to perform at their Presidential Inaugurations Balls. As a musician Bob Israel has performed in concert with Nancy Wilson\, Stanley Turrentine\, Harry Connick\, Dizzy Gillespie\, Mary Wilson and Steve Allen. In addition to performing at Inaugural Balls he has performed for many corporate and associate events as an orchestra leader. The Washington Jazz Battalion Big Band was one of Washington’s finest and attracted crowds of over a thousand people a night.
