Caolaidhe (pronounced Cally) Davis (guitar/harmonica/vocalist) along with fiddle/mandolin/vocalist/partner-in-crime\, Meghan Davis\, create a joy-filled chemistry that no crowd can resist. Add to the mix the very talented Greg Hardin (bass/vocals) & Patty Dougherty (drums)\, and this band will have everyone enthralled.  Bridging the musical roots from Ireland to the Appalachian\, their eclectic gypsy-rock spirit literally leaps from the stage and engages every\n crowd. \nThe band’s first two albums\, The Things That Matter and Diamond in the Rough also received airplay on BBC Radio and multiple stations throughout Europe\, the UK\, Canada\, and the US. Their music has been featured on Relix Magazines Artist Sampler\, was chosen as Album of the Month on West Norfolk Radio\, and was a Finalist for the Washington DC Area Music Awards (The Wammies). As stewards of Appalachian motifs in a modern framework\, they bring banjo\, mandolin\, guitar\, fiddle\, and Appalachian flat foot dancing to the front of the stage\, accented with lush four-part harmonies\, in a free-wheeling repertoire of both rare and wonderful gems from the past and original songs. They released their debut album\, Harvester\, in 2019.

Jenn has an enigmatic and versitile voice\, which is capable of a wide variety of styles. In addition to The Befuddlers Jenn can be seen around town with her other group\, the Hypnotic Panties. She also has a band with her brother Jeremy\, and father Pete which is called Crosstown. \nLarry Byrne is a multi-instumentalist and singer\, and lays down the rhythm on acoustic guitar with The Befuddlers. Larry sits on the board of AMFM\, a charity organization for musicians based in Annapolis. He can be seen playing with many local groups at AMFM fundraisers. Larry also plays with the local funk group\, Higher Hands\, playing the keyboards and supplying left hand bass. He also loves to join the Hypnotic Panties whenever possible! \nPete Reichwein is the father of Jenn\, and the Dobro player in the group. Pete has been a fixture in the Bluegrass community for decades\, but is also an extremely diverse musician with a good knowledge of many different styles of music.\nNo Cover Charge

He will also be taking general medical questions that will be useful to many. \nAbout the Speaker: Dr. Scott Eden is 70 years old\, born and raised in Richmond\, VA. He attended Duke University for college\, medical school and the family medicine residency program. He taught for one year in the residency while his wife Jan Byrd finished her OB-GYN residency and they moved to Annapolis in 1984. Scott is in his 40th year of practicing family medicine in Annapolis. He convinced the Anne Arundel Medical Center to open Community Clinics in 2011\, and he was the medical director of the clinics for 11 years; the clinics are still open. He is interested in wellness and preventive medicine. He was the distance running coach at Annapolis High School for 13 years. And he was a two-time NCAA All American in cross country while at Duke\, he won the Marine Corps Marathon in 1978\, and he qualified for the Olympic Trials in the marathon in 1980.
