Jim will discuss Annapolis City’s drinking water treatment process and delivery. Jim started working in the water treatment field as a water sampler in 1986. He then worked for Anne Arundel County as an Apprentice Plant Operator. He has been with the City of Annapolis since 1992\, starting as a Water Plant Operator and eventually became the Water Plant Superintendent in May\, 2019. He also owns the Annadele Water Treatment Operations LLC\, which provides contract water plant operations for privately owned public water systems. We hope you will come to the Annapolis Science Café at 49 West in person\, but zoom info is available too; if interested in zoom or other questions\, email annapoliscafesci@gmail.com . No cover\, just walk on in\, seat yourself. – we’re in the front room. \nJenn Byrne is the foundation of the group\, playing the upright bass\, and doing the Lion’s share of the singing. Jenn has an enigmatic and versitile voice\, which is capable of a wide variety of styles. In addition to The Befuddlers Jenn can be seen around town with her other group\, the Hypnotic Panties. She also has a band with her brother Jeremy\, and father Pete which is called Crosstown. \nLarry Byrne is a multi-instumentalist and singer\, and lays down the rhythm on acoustic guitar with The Befuddlers. Larry sits on the board of AMFM\, a charity organization for musicians based in Annapolis. He can be seen playing with many local groups at AMFM fundraisers. Larry also plays with the local funk group\, Higher Hands\, playing the keyboards and supplying left hand bass. He also loves to join the Hypnotic Panties whenever possible! \nPete Reichwein is the father of Jenn\, and the Dobro player in the group. Pete has been a fixture in the Bluegrass community for decades\, but is also an extremely diverse musician with a good knowledge of many different styles of music.\nNo Cover Charge
