A Catonsville duo since 2023, Tears for Devere melds the music of Gen X with folk and bluegrass stylings. They draw inspiration from diverse artists like Dave Grohl, Annie Lennox, The Proclaimers, Abigail Washburn, and Tony Rice while pairing James’ rugged guitar and banjo chops with Erica’s smoky vocals. Tears for Devere recently won Best Overall Band at the 2025 Deer Creek Fiddlers Convention.
