Intimate Jazz with Bob Boguslaw & Randy Johnston

This coming Saturday, August 12th at 49 West Cafe at 8 pm we will feature BOB BOGUSLAW on piano, STEVE JOHNSTON on guitar with TOM BALDWIN on bass. Bob tells me the program will be varied and include 1920s to 60s jazz standards as well as bossa novas we all love so much. Bob was until recently “The President’s Own” pianist as a member of the US Marine Corps Band stationed at the White House. Bob is the best stride pianist I have heard in years! I would say he rivals Teddy Wilson and Art Tatum with amazing tone, time and technique! If jazz is a musical conversation, you will be treated to “the best” by this group of musical friends!
