The RagingImmortals perform at 49 West in Annapolis

Raging Immortals, an acoustic/electric band centered around singer/songwriter Tish Martinez and arranger/guitarist John Vengrouskie will be performing their indie/americana blend of classic, rarely covered and original music.

The RagingImmortals tell stories in songs chosen from the last 50 years that are a stinging blend of personal history, common emotion and solid driving arrangements with a rock/indie Americana approach to original music as well as remixes of classic and rarely covered tunes from great songwriters including Rodney Crowell, David Gilmour, Van Morrison, John Prine, Bonnie Raitt, Emmy Lou Harris and Lucinda Williams.

Call it American new-traditionalist, alt-country, roots, americana-inspired blues or electric-folk… whatever label you put on it, it’s personal and exciting songwriting, telling stories that take you to some fine musical places that live inside us all.
