I’m flying over from Denmark to play One Night. Two Shows. Forty Seats at 49 West on May 2nd because the resistance doesn’t take a night off, and neither do these songs.

You know 49 West.

You know the room, the vibe, the history of great music that’s passed through it.

Almost a decade ago I stood on that stage for the very first time and played a set of all original music.

I was terrified.

The room was kind. So were you.

So I’m coming back on May 2nd because the call for songwriters to address what’s real has rarely been louder.

You know this moment. You feel it every morning when you pick up your phone.

Joining me are some of the finest players in Annapolis: John Vengrouski on guitar, Herbie Wheatley on saxophone and flute, Cecilia Weller on violin, and Drea Lynn on vocals.

Acoustic.

Intimate.

Two shows. 7:30-9pm and 9:30-11pm.

Twenty-five dollars. I know that’s a little more than a usual night out. It’s also a transatlantic flight for two performances in one room at forty seats each.

Every ticket makes this happen. I need both shows full. That’s just the truth, and you’ve always responded to the truth.
