Trekkie Jones is an Annapolis based rock band featuring Ren Rick, an area music veteran. From rowdy rock’n’roll, to blues, to songs with a more melodic vibe, the music is a product of the members widely varied influences and experiences. The band has chosen their show at 49 West as the official release party for their debut cd, Maiden Voyage. Since their formation in 2013, Trekkie Jones has performed everywhere from waterside dockbars and local clubs to the big stages of Rams Head Live and area music festivals. Along with their original music, they perform a long list of cover songs including selections of classic rock, blues, country, modern rock, and other genres from the 60’s to today.
