Sketti is an Annapolis-based jazz fusion band redefining the genre with a fresh, high-energy approach. Formed by drummer and Berklee College of Music graduate Jaden Rain and Keyboardist and BHS Apex Alumnus Michael Morrison, the group brings together a diverse lineup of emerging talent: Frost School of Music–trained bassist Harrison Sturges, and current BHS Apex Student and guitarist Tegan Shellem.

Blending technical precision with improvisational freedom, Sketti bridges classic and contemporary fusion. Their sound draws from legends and innovators like Herbie Hancock, Dave Weckl, Stanley Clarke and Casiopea, while embracing modern bands such as Parlor Greens.

Their live sets feature a mix of electrifying fusion staples—including Festival de Ritmo, Watermelon Man, and Hang Up Your Hang Ups—in original arangements that showcase the band’s evolving identity. With tight grooves, expressive solos, and a commitment to musical exploration, Sketti delivers a compelling experience for both jazz enthusiasts and new listeners alike.
