Gayle Danley is a championship poet and grief writer. She has won both the national and the international poetry slam titles, and has been featured on CBS’ “60 Minutes”, in the Baltimore Sun, and Washington Post. Gayle is the Maryland Library Association’s Poet of the Year, and has also been Young Audiences of Maryland Artist of the Year, and Young Audiences National Artist of the Year. She a B.A. from Howard University, and an from M.S. Syracuse University.

FREE PARKING FOR SPIRAL STAIRCASE POETRY

PARK FOR FREE in the Anne Arundel County employees’ garage at
19 St. John’s St. (GPS/Mapquest the address)

The garage is OPEN AND FREE on the weekends. This garage is about a five-minute walk from the 49 West Coffehouse.

The garage is right across from the St. John’s College auditorium. Turn on to St. John’s St. off of College Ave., OR come straight down Rowe Blvd. from Rt. 50, then turn left at the light at Calvert St., and then left on St. John St. Here’s a link with the St. John’s St. garage’s location and the walking route to 49 West Cafe.
